American Sentinel University - (formerly American College of Computer and Information Sciences) Course description from the school: American Sentinel University offers four technology majors:  Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, and Management Information Systems. Each of these majors requires students to complete a 60-hour General Education requirement, a 16-hour Technology Core Courses requirement, 28 to 32-hour requirement in the student's Major, and 12 to 16 hour Upper-Division Elective requirement. Students do not need to declare a major when entering a program. Students may receive transfer credit for a course or test-out counts as completing the course.

Course description from the school: Bachelor of Computer Science - The Bachelor of Computer Science degree program requires satisfactory completion of 121 units of academic work with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better.  The Computer Science core and elective courses consist of a mixture of guided instruction and lab formats. Laboratory courses in Computer Science are those courses in which the majority of the time is spent writing and using software on a personal computer.

Course description from the school: Computer Science - This degree program is designed to prepare students for advanced, technical computer systems design and development work. It includes the study of the database design, data communications, procedural and object-oriented programming, operating systems design, algorithm development, and applications of artificial intelligence. The curriculum includes basic course work in electronics technology and the theory of programming languages. Students focus on developing computer-based solutions involving hardware and software components and integration. Graduates may be qualified to work in a range of positions, from entry-level computer scientists and systems engineers to project managers leading advanced applications of computer science to real-world problems.

Course description from the school: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science -This major is the most theoretic program offered.
